ARE YOU READY FOR CHANNEL AKA?
Feeling a bit lost and confused? Do you feel sad when you turn on to channel 370 and the logo you know and love doesn't appear in the corner? Wondering where your life is going to go now channel U is not on sky 370 anymore.
FEAR NO LONGER as you are about to find out the answers:
Who is Channel AKA?
Channel AKA is bringing you all of the best bits of Channel U and throwing in even more of what you love. There will be some changes coming your way including sorting out those technical problems when the screen goes black and gone will be the days of one track repeating itself three times in a row. WOO HOO!!
You will also see some changes to playlists and genres as new music including Funky House sections and Drum and Bass sections will be added for your viewing pleasure along with all time great underground UK music. There will even be a late night section called MASS-AKA where the streets will get to talk their realest and hardest!
Channel AKA will still give you the platform to show your own music to the nation and the doors are open for even more of you to do this now that we are playing Funky House and Drum and Bass so get sending! If it's UK and it's from the underground, we want to see it!
For any updates about Channel AKA, please check the Channel U website (CHANNEL AKA will have their website up and running very soon!)

I never used to like it, but now it's ok.
And it's great that it's just the same as Channel U. But it's daft that you call UK Classics UK GOLD. But still, ya doin well.

im fed up of all these commercial pop and r and b tunes that are apperaing on channel aka. about a year ago when it was channel u i remember it used to be mostly just underground, unheard of grime and hip hop artists etc but now it is becoming more and more like any other music channel, playing shit like fugative- saturday night and timbaland return the favour, justin timberlake and ciara etc, these are the tunes that other channels play and i turn channel aka on to hear something diofferent but now its all just the same commercial pop and stuff. please bring back more real "Streets, Grime and Life" whcih is what most of us watch aka for and not just turn into a commercial music lover.
